As 2025 wraps up, Kraken’s Key Trading Co. reflects on a successful year. Highlighted by selling out its notebook covers and thanks supporters for helping the business grow. Looking ahead to 2026, several updates and releases are underway:

• Brand Refresh: The website and media are getting updated graphics, colors, and a new text logo for a more cohesive look.

• 2026 Pocket Calendars: Thicker, natural-tone paper calendars with the updated design will ship with every notebook order (2025 calendars included until Jan 1, 2026).

• Cove and Slip Drop: Early 2026 will bring a new drop using dark brown English Bridle leather from Wickett & Craig.

• New Products: A redesigned Boatswain-style item with slots for a knife, pen, and flashlight is in testing and will get a new name. The Sailor line will also expand into standardized small, medium, and large sizes for different knife types.

• Video Content: More long-form content is planned, including product highlights, gear reviews, and EDC dump videos.

Overall, 2026 will focus on thoughtful growth, new offerings, and deeper community connection as the business enters its third year.
